Stanbic Uganda Cup | Finals
Proline vs Bright Stars -Masaka Recreation playground
The Stanbic Uganda Cup 2018-2019 season will get to its climax on Saturday when Proline plays Bright Stars at the Masaka Recreation playground.
Prior to the finals, Proline and Bright Stars coaches Shafik Bisaso and Fred Kajoba were optimistic for the championship ahead of the face off.
In a pre-match press conference held on Wednesday at the FUFA House in Mengo, FUFA Big League winning gaffer Bisaso believed his team will outplay their opponents based on their areas of strength and weakness.

“I’m not looking at history but we believe this is our time, we have achieved everything in this time. I know we are facing a big team that has played in the Uganda Premier League for a long time and they have a good coach but we are set to face them.
“We respect them but don’t fear them at all. They don’t know our areas of strength and weakness and yet for us, we know theirs.”
Also, Bright Stars’ Kajoba banked on the experience in the Uganda Cup and hopes to play an entertaining game.
“I have the experience for Uganda Cup finals and all the chances are on our side. We shall play an entertaining game and nothing will stop us from winning the trophy as all the players are ready to deliver.”
On the semi-finals, Proline ejected Kyetume via spot kicks while Bright Stars edged Express in penalty shoot-outs as well.
KCCA FC is the defending champion of the Uganda Cup.
