CECAFA U15: 30-Man Contingent Departs For Eritrea

A contingent of 30 left Uganda for Eritrea on Thursday morning ahead of the CECAFA U15 tournament that will take place in Eritrea.

The departed squad that has 20 players and ten officials will represent Uganda in the championship that will kick off on Friday 16th August.

The team is coached by Jackson Magera who is assisted by Hamza Lutalo and Mubarak Kiberu as the goalkeeping coach.

Before its departure, Uganda U15 had passed tests against Jinja SS with a 3-0 win and a 5-0 victory over Rays of Grace that clinched Odilo maiden championship.

Uganda that was placed in group B will open up the campaign against Ethiopia on Saturday 17th before South Sudan on Tuesday next week.

Uganda will later play the final game of group B against Rwanda on Saturday 24th August.
