GFA PRESIDENTIAL SEAT: Football Administrators wants a Unifier – George Afriyie

Ghana Football Association (GFA) Presidential hopeful, George Akwesi Afriyie believes Ghanaian football administrators are hungry for Unifier as the Association President.

According to the former GFA Vice President, the unbelievable scenes of unity that was recorded at the GFA Extraordinary Congress at the center for Physicians and Surgeons in Accra, Ridge on Thursday, indicated how eager the club owners and administrators are keen on electing a Unifier as a Leader of the Association.

The GFA Normalization Committee invited club administrators to an Extraordinary Congress where the drafted statutes for the Association witnessed the test of time.

Nevertheless, some undue changes were made to the statutes quo by the clubs before its approval.

Setting the road map for the Election of GFA President and the RFA’s.

“The most important thing is football people have resolved, and we need our football back”…In the year 2018 I announced, that when the elections procesess is opened in Ghana for the 2019 Elections I will put myself forward for the elections…” the former Black Stars Management Committee Chairman told the media.

“Everything here has shown from the club owners that they need a unifier to lead Ghana Football, one who understand the game of football”. “This is not time for try and error(Ma try ma kp3).

This is the moment for one who is tried and tested”, George Afriyie noted.

He is the President and bank roller of Ghanaian Lower side Okyeman Planners.
