Ugandan striker, Umaru Kasumba is among the top scorers in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) as the season nears midway.
Kasumba has scored six goals, one less than top scorer, Enosh Ochieng of Ulinzi Stars who has scored seven. Kakamega Homeboyz captain, Allan Wanga has also scored six league goals.
Wycliffe Ochomo of Bandari and Mathare United’s Cliff Nyakeya have both scored five goals.
Ugandan Erisa Ssekisambu of Gor Mahia, Peter Kyata of Nakumatt, Kevin Kimani of Mathare United, Sony’s Derrick Otanga, John Avire of Sofapaka, Mathare’s Crispin Oduor, Nicholas Kipkirui of Gor Mahia and Yema Mwana of Bandari have all scored four goals.
Sofapaka is the top scoring team in the league with 24 goals followed by Mathare United with 23 goals. Gor Mahia follows with 22 while Bandari is fourth with 20 goals.
