Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) communications manager Ahmed Hussein Marsha has been appointed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for continental duties.
Hussein has been appointed as the CAF Media officer who will be in charge of the CAF Champions League quarter final game between Tanzanian giants Simba SC and TP Mazembe of DR Congo in the first leg.
Simba will host the first leg at National stadium in Dar es Salaam on the 6th of April ahead of the return leg on the 13th of April at Stade TP Mazembe.
Hussein was also the CAF Media officer in the African Nations Cup qualifier game between Zimbabwe and Congo that ended 2-0 in favor of Zimbabwe at National Sports Stadium last Sunday.
In the same continental line, Ugandan Okello Dixon has been assigned by the African football ruling body to be the CAF Security Officer in the CAF Champions League game between Club Sportif Constantine (Algeria) and Esperance (Tunisia).
Both will face off in the first leg of the quarter finals at Stade Mohamed Hamlaoui next Saturday and the return leg will come a week later.
Another Ugandan official Mike Letti has been appointed to be the CAF Match Commissioner in the second leg match between El Hilal of Sudan and Etoile Du Sahel from Tunisia In the CAF Confederations Cup.
Both teams will lock horns in the first leg next Sunday at Stade Olympique de Sousse and Letti will be on duty in the return leg at Al Hilal stadium.
