Big League Playoffs: Kyetume shootout Doves to set a date with Kansai

Kyetume FC 2-2 Dove FC Penalties (3-2)

UPDF FC 1-1 Kansai Plascon Penalties (4-5)

Kyetume FC will face off with Kansai Plascon on the finals of the FUFA Big League playoffs on Saturday to get the team that will fill the third slot of top-flight promotion.

This was after Kyetume’s penalty shooting victory against Dove FC 3-2 after a two-all draw in the normal time.

Kyetume went into the lead when Wahab Lwanga tapped in his own net off a teasing ball from veteran Vincent Kayizzi before Dove FC leveled through Ronald Kyamunywa.

in the second half, Mumbere Ali Ngongo headed Kyetume in the lead with a strong header but goalkeeper Hussein Ndugwa scored from penalty towards the final whistle as Dove came from down to level.

In penalties, Steven Sande, Owen Kasule, and Vincent Kayizzi converted their chances while Denis Lubowa and Ali Ngong missed their attempts.

For Dove FC, Robert Santos Baluku and Andrew Omego managed to convert their spots while Hussein Ndugwa,
Samson Elianu and John Tusubira all failed to convert.

Kyetume will play against Kansai Plascon that ejected UPDF FC 5-4 via penalty kicks after a 1-1 draw in the normal time.

The final playoff game will be played at the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo on Saturday 18th May at 2 PM.
