Busoga United’s Bagoole nears URA switch

Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) is on the verge of signing midfield general David Bagoole from Busoga United.

Bagoole is believed to has reached an agreement with the tax collectors and will put to paper a three-year contract deal.

The dynamic midfielder had exhibited stellar performances in the previous 2018-2019 Uganda Premier League season and helped the Jinja outfits to finish in the 9th with 41 points.

He was linked to three-time league champions Vipers SC and other clubs outside the country.

In case the deal goes through, he will be the club’s eighth signing after Brian Majwega, Hassan Kalegga, Ashraf Mandela, John Semazzi, Anwar Ntege, Senyonga Mikidad, and Ivan Serubiri.

Last season, URA came closer to winning the league title finishing 3rd with 51 points from 3o league games played.
