Kenyan Premier League defending champions and Big spenders Gor Mahia have released Ugandan striker Erisa Sekisambu according to reliable sources.
Sekisambu joined Gor Mahia on the 31st of October 2018 penning a two-year contract deal but has been released with one year left.
The player has been released having failed to impress his bosses in the 2018-2019 season and the development was confirmed by the club’s CEO Aduda Lodvick.
He had joined Gor Mahia from three-time Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC where he had an impressive campaign and winning the 2017-2018 league title with the Venoms.
He had previously played for SC Villa, Express FC, and Vipers as well on the local basis.
Other players that have been released by the K’Ongalos are Castro Ogendo, Pascal Ogweno, Cercidy Okeyo, and Shaban Odhoji.
Talisman Francis Kahata joined Tanzanian giants Simba SC while Jacques Tuyisenge is plotting a move to Petro Atletico.
