Ugandan lanky forward Umar Kasumba clinched Sportpesa player of the month in the Kenyan Premier League for the second time in a season.
The Tusker football club striker Kasumba scored seven goals in the month of April that kept his team in stiff competition with champions Gor Mahia.
In the month of April, Kasumba played five games and scored twice against Zoo Kericho, one goal against Kenyan Commercial Bank.
He also one goal in two games against Kariobangi Sharks and Sony Sugar before his brace against Mathare United.

He beat players Whyvonne Isuza (AFC Leopards), Allan Wanga (Kakamega Homeboyz), and Enosh Ochieng of Ulinzi Stars to win the best of April award.
Kasumba became the second player to win the player of the month accolade twice in a season after Enock Agwanda.
In addition to the personalized trophy, the former SC Villa player walked away with a 49 inch LG TV and Kenyan shillings worth 20000 courtesy of Sportpesa.
