KCCA players set for shillings 540 million bonus share for winning St. George

KCCA players and technical team will share Shs 540 million of Shs 1.9 billion after a historical 1-0 win against St.George of Ethiopia at Star times stadium Lugogo that saw the team advancing to CAF champions league group stage.

This bonus share was reached on by KCCA management led by Executive director Jennifer Musisi Ssemakula when he engaged with KCCA players during training at Star times stadium yesterday.

She also ordered players match bonuses to be increased from shs 400,000 to 500,000. The former was after KCCA ejecting CNaPS of Madagascar in the preliminary round.

“I felt delighted through the weekend and i thank you for making me, KCCA and Uganda proud. The results were a sign of steady preparedness, hard work and strategising”.Musisi stated.

A source close said players were promised much more if they compete and advance to a desirable level in the CAF champions league.

“I don’t think any of the players really believe they will win the competition, but they still need to go through the motions and draw up incentives. A source said.

fourth in group $550,000 (Shs 1.9 bn)
