Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants Football Club have confirmed the signing of Ivan Sebuguzi from Kampala University.
The 19-year-old central midfielder joins the Purple Sharks on a three-year deal becoming the club’s third recruitment ahead of the upcoming 2019-2020 season.
“It’s a dream come true. I have always wanted to play in the Uganda Premier League and when a chance came from Wakiso Giants, I didn’t have to look elsewhere. They are a young club with big ambitions and will probably help me grow my career.”
Sebuguzi told the club’s official website after making a move.
The teenage midfielder will see his feature at the club last until 2022.
He becomes the third signing made by Wakiso Giants in the ongoing offseason transfer window.
The Purple Sharks had signed goalkeeper Derrick Emukule from Ndejje University and Aggrey Madoi from Vipers SC.
