Musamali, Okot set to leave KCCA

KCCA Football Club defenders Denis Okot and Paul Musamali are on the brink of leaving the Lugogo based side according to reliable sources.

The two joined the 2018 Uganda Cup winners in the first season of Mike Mutebi and have been instrumental in the team’s success over the past three years.

Musamali’s contract expired at the end of the just concluded season and the club will not renew while Okot still has time running on his contract but KCCA is working to send him to URA on a loan deal.

The club is also weighing on letting go of experienced central defender Habib Kavuma whose contract still has more than a year.

Also expected to leave the club is attacking midfielder Paul Mucureezi who could be destined to Mbarara City.

However, it’s also reported the player and club failed to agree on a new deal with yet to be identified clubs in Egypt, Kenya and Zambia targeting his signature.
