Musiimenta Dassy and Ongeyuwun Patrick were on the score sheet as Booma fc picked maximum points from Kiryandongo United on Saturday 18th January at Kiryandongo c.o.u play ground.
Abass scored the only goal for Kiryandongo United.
All goals were scored in first half of the game. The game started on the high pace as each side was searching for an early opener.
This paid off to Booma Fc as Musiimenta Dassy put the Tukyate Boys in a 1-0 lead in the 3rd minute from a cool finish, taking his tally to five goals from five games this season.
Kiryandongo United striker Abass scored an equalizer in the 36th minute from a corner kick, making it 1-1.
Kante (Kiryandongo) has a close chance to double the lead but he was denied by Booma fc goalkeeper Musisi Moses.
Once again Musisi (Booma fc) was forced into two back to back saves from Abass and Apach keeping his side with hope.
Three minutes to half time break, Ongeyuwun Patrick restored Booma fc’s lead with a cool finish, hence 2-1.
Booma fc went into the break enjoying a 2-1 lead.
The opening 15 minutes of the second half, were of high tensity as the home side was pressing for an equalizer but all did not go as they wanted as Booma fc defence and goalkeeper were alert all time to maintain their 2-1 lead.
As the game went on, Kiryandongo utd seemed to have given up which lead Booma fc to press them in search for the third.
In the process, Patrick (Booma fc) missed two clear chances to extend their lead as he shot wide and straight into the goalkeepers hands.
Dassy and Omona (Booma fc) had their shots go over the bar. Eight minutes to final whistle, Kiryandongo utd gained confidence again and pressed so hard Booma fc for the leveller but it was not their day.
Goalkeeper Musisi Moses (Booma fc) made two classic saves denying Abass and Isaac from goal scoring opportunities.
And the final whistle was blown with Booma fc walking away with away maximum points after a 2-1 win.
Booma fc goalkeeper Musisi Moses was named man of the match. This was Booma fc’s fourth win from six games, taking them to 14 points on top of the table, one above second placed Bugoigo Leopards fc who were held to a 1-1 draw by Kigorobya county fc.
Kiryandongo United suffered their second loss from four games, ramaining at six points, 7th on table.
