Transfers: URA captures striker Semazzi’s signature

Uganda Premier League side URA Football Club is continuously dominating the off season transfer window.

The tax collectors have signed striker John Semazzi from Rwanda National Football League side Espoir Football Club.

The striker has signed a three-year deal with an option of extending it for further one year.

Semazzi previously played for Uganda Premier League sides Express FC (2014-2016) and Vipers Sports Club (2016-2017) respectively.

From the Venoms, Semazzi joined Espoir and has featured for only two seasons in Rwanda.

He is the club’s fourth recruitment after Anwar Ntege (Ndejje University), Ivan Serubiri and Sennyonga Mikidad from Busiro Ssaza team respectively.

Last season, Espoir finished 6th on the table with 40 points from 30 games played.
