  • Uganda Cranes Vs Burundi At Star Times Stadium, Lugogo

The Uganda Cranes CHAN team (local based) entered residential camp on Thursday, October 17th, as they intensify their preparations for the forthcoming second leg tie against Burundi in the 2020 Total African Nations Championship (Chan) finals in Cameroon.

The squad of 26 players coached by Abdullah Mubiru has entered a camp at Sky Hotel in Nalya where they will stay for two days.

“Much as we won 3-0 away in Bujumbura, we must prepare ourselves pretty well by giving attention to each details from the smallest to the biggest and fighting complacency is one of them.” Said Coach Mubiru after the team’s Thursday training.

The team will continue with one training session today on Friday the 18th of this month (October) at the Star Times Stadium in Lugogo at 9 AM.

The Uganda Cranes have a 3-0 aggregate thanks to their first-leg win in Bujumbura courtesy of Kizza Mustafa, Vianne Sekajugo, and Mike Mutyaba.
