UKF: Kaliisa led executive faction swears in

On Tuesday afternoon, Malik Kaliisa sworn in as the president of the Uganda Kickboxing Federation (UKF) alongside his rival faction.

The federation rival faction president Kaliisa sworn in alongside five members of his executive in a ceremony that took place at the Centenary Park in Kampala in the presence of the by the media and some fighters.

The swearing in for the new executive was led by two lawyers Samson Kyomukama and Ukasaha Sekajja of Kyomukama and Company advocates.

“We have now fully confirmed the new executive that will be officially ruling the Uganda Kickboxing Federation with transparency. We are tasked to plan for as many domestic competitions, regional, continental and intercontinental events, buy four rings, build a kick boxing arena and ensure accountability of the federation funds and promoting unity.

Said the president Kaliisa Malika.

Other members who swore in were; Latif Walugembe as the deputy president, Charles Paddy Mugoya as general secretary, Khalid Tamale (treasurer), Sadat Yiga as organizing secretary and Lucky Kirenga as the publicity secretary.
