Walusimbi out as Kaizer Chiefs lose to Kateregga-less Cape Town | Premier Super League

Kaizer Chiefs 0-1 Cape Town City

Marauding left back Godfrey Walusimbi was nowhere to be seen when his Kaizer Chiefs side lost 0-1 at home to Allan Kateregga’s Cape Town City in the Premier Super League on Wednesday.

Like Walusimbi, also winger Allan Kateregga did not feature anywhere on Cape Town City’s 18-man match day squad s.but his team ended victorious with maximum away points.

Edmilson Dove was the difference in the game as he managed to score the only goal for Cape Town City that inspired them to win at the FNB Stadium.

However, Cape Town remained ten on the pitch after left back Zukile Kewuti got marching orders and went for early shower with only seven minutes left on the clock.

Kaizer Chiefs remained 5th positioned on 27 points with three shy of 4th placed Cape Town City.

The Amakhosi will play their next league game on Saturday 9th, February hosting Milutin Sredjovic coached team Orlando Pirates.

Whilst Ben McCarthy coached side Cape Town will visit 11th placed AmaZulu at King Zwelithini Stadium on the same day.
